Cherokee Ford started when Vernon Krause bought Ed Voyles Ford in Canton, Georgia. He renamed it to Cherokee Ford. The dealership operated in Canton until December. At the present time, the company is headquartered in Woodstock, Georgia. In 1997, Cherokee Ford was the first Ford dealership in the Atlanta Region to start a Quick Lane service center. In 2000, the company opened The Collision Center, which offers state-of-the-art equipment and paint booths. In late 2001, the company built a new showroom adjacent to Cherokee Ford.
